JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs will be the chief legal counsel for Disney ABC Cable Networks Group (“CNG”), responsible for the overall management of all legal issues relating to CNG and the effectiveness of the Legal Affairs department for CNG. The SVP, Legal Affairs will work collaboratively with, and serve as the primary advisor to, senior management of CNG on all legal matters for CNG, and will be expected to provide guidance and direction reflecting sound judgment, strategic vision, and substantive legal knowledge and expertise. • Supervise and manage the Standards and Practices group to ensure compliance with company policies for programming, advertising, and promotion.
• Work closely with Labor Relations and Business Affairs on high-level and strategic labor issues that confront CNG.
• Manage legal aspects of personnel issues within CNG, including issues relating to employee safety, workers’ compensation, and Human Resources initiatives.

Job Summary

Position Summary:
